This Privacy Policy describes how PinchPath ("we," "our," or "the App") handles information collected through our mobile application and our website at pinchpath.com.

1. Information collected inside the app

PinchPath lets parents, educators, and clinicians track a child's handwriting and visual-motor progress. To do this, the app stores:

• Profile information: a child's first name (or a custom identifier/initials) and age.
• Performance data: activity scores, path-tracing accuracy, and visual-motor and fine-motor progress over time.

Where this data lives: all profile and progress data is stored entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers, never synced to a cloud service by us, and never shared with third parties. Because the data stays on the device, it is your responsibility to keep your device secure; if you delete the app, the associated data is removed with it.

2. Children's privacy (COPPA)

PinchPath is intended to be set up and managed by an adult. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar global guidelines:

• We do not collect identity documents, contact details for children, or location data.
• We do not track children across other websites, apps, or services, and we do not use child data for advertising.
• We do not display third-party advertising inside the app.
• Account management and settings are protected behind a parental gate to prevent accidental changes by a child.

3. Website and waitlist

If you submit your email address through our website waitlist or contact forms, we use it solely to send you launch updates and to respond to your inquiry. We will never sell, rent, or spam your email address, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Our waitlist form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form provider, which handles the submission on our behalf. Your email is stored only to provide the updates you requested. You can request removal at any time by emailing us at the address below.

4. Diagnostic data and app stability

To fix technical issues and improve performance, the app may collect anonymous diagnostic and crash information at runtime. This data does not contain personal identifiers or any child-specific progress information, and it cannot be used to identify a child.

5. Data retention and your choices

Because in-app data is stored locally, you control it directly: you can edit or delete any profile within the app, and uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device. For waitlist or contact emails, you can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting us.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
